Step-by-Step Battery Calibration Procedure

1. Fully Charge the New Battery

  • Plug in your phone and charge it to 100% without interruptions.
  • Leave it connected for at least 30 minutes after reaching 100% to ensure a full charge.

2. Reboot the Phone

  • Once fully charged, restart the device to help clear any temporary battery data.

3. Dial the SysDump Code

  • Open the Phone/Dialer app.
  • Enter the following code: bashCopyEdit*#9900#
  • This opens the SysDump menu (available on many Samsung models).

4. Scroll Down and Select “Battery Stats Reset”

  • Use the list to locate “Battery Stats Reset” or “Reset Battery Stats”.
  • Tap it once. This clears the old battery calibration data and lets the system relearn the new battery stats.

If this option is not available in your device’s menu, your model may not support calibration through this method. In that case, use the manual method described below.

5. Power Off and Fully Discharge
